Feast of the Ascension

The congregational hymn translates as follows

Hail, Thou who man’s Redeemer art,
Jesus, the joy of every heart,
Great Maker of the world’s wide frame
And purest love’s delight and flame!
Our guide, our way to heavenly rest,
Be Thou the aim of every breast;
Be Thou the soother of our tears,
Our sweet reward above the spheres. Amen."

3rd Sunday After Easter, 7th May, and advance notice about Ascension Day

Paschal Time 2017

The Church rejoices because Christ is risen and has delivered us (Alleluia); so she sends up cries of joy (Introit), and sings the praises of God (Offertory).

We do hope you have had a blessed and peaceful Easter, and wish you the continued joy of the Paschal Season as we move through to Ascension and Pentecost Sunday.

This post gives information about the next times of Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form within the Diocese,
