Many thanks to Fr Neil Evans who generously allowed the celebration of a Missa Cantata on the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King at his parish church of St Benedict, Sketty, Swansea.
A congregation of 38 souls attended a beautifully sung Mass in the modern but spacious (and gracious) surroundings of the beautiful church of St Benedict.
Thanks also to the altar servers but, especial thanks to Fr Jason Jones who was the celebrant and who does so much for the Confraternity and for the Latin Mass Society in the Diocese.
In his sermon he quoted the last words of another priest, Bl Miguel Pro, shot by the firing squad in his native Mexico.
VIVA CHRISTO REY!
Our next Mass will be at Newcastle Emlyn next Sunday, 6th November at 3pm.

The choir would also like to extend its thanks to Father Neil who offered such a warm welcome this afternoon. St Benedict's is a lovely church in which to sing the EF Mass - perfect acoustics and indeed a gracious setting.
